Care Worker

Job brief

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Workers to join our team. As a Care Worker, you will be responsible for providing assistance and support to individuals who require care, such as the elderly, disabled, or those with chronic illnesses. Your primary objective will be to enhance the quality of life for our clients by promoting their independence, dignity, and well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Administer medications according to prescribed schedules.
• Help with light housekeeping tasks, meal preparation, and grocery shopping.
• Accompany clients to medical appointments and outings.
• Monitor and report any changes in clients’ health or behavior to the appropriate supervisor.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client care and activities.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Care Worker or similar role preferred, but not required.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR preferred.
• Compassionate and empathetic demeanor.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license (if applicable).
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
